Freight on Australian Orders
For shipping and handling within Australia, we use TNT or Australia Post to transport goods. You may select your preferred carrier at checkout.
Processing and delivery times
Orders are usually processed within 1-2 business days after receipt of payment and delivery is Monday to Friday, during normal business hours.
Once dispatched deliveries should be received within 2 business days in major cities and 5 business days for country deliveries. A little extra time needs to be allowed in busy periods such as Christmas and Easter.
An email notification will be sent once a parcel has been dispatched. Tracking of consignment numbers may be available on TNT's website tracker.
Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address and postcode. Parcels which are returned to us as undeliverable will incur a re-despatch fee.
Original delivery charges are non-refundable.
All parcels must be signed for at the time of delivery. If you prefer to have your parcel left in a secure and safe place, you can add “Authority to Leave” instructions for TNT. Please enter your instructions in the ‘Special Instructions’ Box which appears on the Checkout Page.
If no-one is available to sign for the parcel and a special delivery instruction has not been made, a card will be left at the delivery address supplied advising where the parcel can be collected and the times available for collection. Please note, parcels will be held for a short period of time before being returned to the Shade Fittings depot as an 'unclaimed parcel'. Re-sending the parcel will incur a re-sending fee.
Lost or Damaged Goods
In the unlikely event that a problem has occurred with the delivery, please contact us within 3 business days of intended delivery so that we can resolve the matter as soon as possible and attempt to find your products.
Our regular freight carriers do not carry insurance for lost or damaged goods.
Ensure correct address details are supplied.
You may prefer to collect goods direct from our factory outlet.
Each order is charged independently of subsequent orders.
As freight is charged on the weight of the final order and its destination, final freight charges are not calculated until the Checkout Page. Freight costs can be viewed in the Shopping Cart prior to finalising your order and making payment. Please ensure you enter accurate suburb and postcode details.
If your order exceeds 100kgs, we will contact you with a quote for freight.
International enquiries are welcome and air or sea freight can be arranged. Freight is quoted per dispatch. We will contact you with a quote for shipping.
Out of Stock Items
Please note if you order a product which is found to be out of stock during your shopping, you will be notified. You may choose to
· complete the order with in-stock items and exclude the out of stock items or
· substitute out of stock items with alternate in-stock items
We do not take backorders on out of stock items. You may like to contact us or check back into the e-shop at a later time to see if goods are back in stock. Subsequent orders will have a delivery charge.
Custom made products or made to order products will incur a production delay while they are being fabricated. This is to be expected. Lead time will depend on the nature of the order. Please contact us for progress update on your order.
For follow up on all deliveries please email a detailed explanation of the issue including references and dates to firstname.lastname@example.org. This information will expedite a solution.
